It's snowing again, so I lit a fire and made some chili for dinner tonight.

Here are my ingredients:
  • About a half kilo of ground beef
  • 1 Can of Corn
  • 1 Can of Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Can of Chili Beans
  • 1 Packet of Chili Mix
1.) Brown the Beef and strain out the fat & grease
2.) Mix all of the ingredients in a stovetop vat
3.) Simmer it for half an hour, mixing it every ten minutes.

I add garlic powder to my liking, but that's just me.

Agave Lime Chicken

Working on perfecting this recipe, but thus far this is the best I've come up with.

Ingredients
  • Juice of 4 Limes + Zest
  • Juice of 2 Oranges + Zest
  • 2 Tbsp (30g) of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp (15g) + 1 tsp (5g) of agave nectar
  • 3 Cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Salt and Pepper, to your liking
  • 4 chicken breasts
Preparation
  1. Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large bowl or bag, mixing well
  2. Add chicken breasts and marinate in refrigerator for 1-4 hours (depending on how strong you want it)
  3. Saute room-temperature chicken breasts over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes a side, or until cooked through
  4. Serve with cilantro-lime rice and fresh guacamole to best compliment flavours

It has always been a passion of mine. I had started a cooking show using a GoPro in my kitchen, but my girlfriend believed it made me the biggest dork on the planet, so I stopped. I might start that up again one day. "The Nordreich Cookbook: Fueling Nordland".

Women like men who can cook. You don't have to be a gourmet chef, either. Just know how to make a few things, and be willing to try out a new recipe from time to time. Much dirty lovin' will follow.

Agreed°° I learned to cook in the Army, I was in a four man Room and the other guys were all Arm Chefs. It was boring at weekends, so i used to go into the Kitchens and the Messes. I learned a hell of a lot and can try my hand at most anything.

Came in very handy with the German women, as most German guys are only interested in their cars, so I was a novelty and had some pretty good chat up lines based around the fact I could cook
