Dev said himself the game would have more than 8 maps. And we may like it or not DLC is here to stay. I hardly buy any, though. The Dragon Age expension was the first one in years.
Kaiser Hanssen wrote:2.) 40 players max is A: stupidly low and B: it's gonna be on PC, there should be choice regardless.
I can only judge on that when I've seen the maps. I remember there was a game on the original Xbox which had 64 players. It was a mess, because the maps weren't optimized for it. We stick to 32 players most of the time.

Very disappointed about space battle not being in the game. Galactic Conquest not so much, it was just a multiplayer with bots and some cutscenes.
Kaiser Hanssen wrote:4.) Modding is practically standard on PC these days; online modding keeps online fresh.
A lot of multiplayer games don't support native modding. But there will probably be mods for it on private servers.
Kaiser Hanssen wrote:5.) The vehicle box isn't wrong, because it stated at the time what was unconfirmed, and didn't say that AT-ATs were now suddenly driveable. A vehicle only being available on rails is literally a joke in this day and age.
Can't say anything about the vehicles, no information was given. The internet is just looking for something to hate here.

Depends, if it's a good game and the DLC comes fast... then no.

Not a fan of Origin, but I won't hate EA as a company. They made some good games and some bad. Made some good decisions and some bad desicions. Just like any other company.
