It's a great support flanker with it's mobility and fast and accurate 85mm gun. You can pretty reliably plant shots on the enemy while going 60km/h even on 200m distances. Destroyed a platoon of T54E1's today :germanlaugh:

You should stop being bad at life and play War Thunder, a far superior and more realistic product. :verylikegerman:

But WT doesn't have french tanks I can ram to death in my German tonks :negativeman:

Also I don't like trading arty shitting on me to bombers shitting on me. Or having five invisible health bars instead of one visible health bar.

I'll stay with WoT/AW

It's not really an invisible health bar. I hear that criticism a lot. Since War Thunder actually models what happens to the shell after it penetrates the tank the chances of 3/4 or all of your crew being dead after 1 shot penetrates is pretty high. You can't just snipe the commander hatch over and over like you can in wargaming products and expect a tank kill.

The contribution of air in ground battles is also highly overstated. Ingame AA vehicles generally blow bombers away before they even have a chance to dump their payloads. You're more likely to get strafed by ground attack aircraft like stuka's with the 37mm gun pods. Since there's no HE filler on those shells they generally don't kill tanks. They're good at disabling engines and knocking off tracks though.

That's why you hide it, wiggle around to make it harder to hit or when brawling you block their shot with your gun. It's a balancing measure (though a bad one imo) so tanks like the T95 or VK4502B aren't completely invulnerable from the front.

Either they've changed things or I just had shit luck the last time I played.

They've changed things, it also depends on if you're playing arcade mode or realistic/sim battles. Arcade has some dumb mechanics where if you get killstreaks then you can jump in a bomber for free and shit all over the opposing team.

This doesn't happen in realistic, you have a limited number of spawn points to spend and in order to fly aircraft you generally have to land 1-2 kills in a tank first. By the time you're in a plane, there is almost always someone in an AA vehicle on the map ready to blow you out of the sky.
